“Morgan”- Review:

Lee Weathers (Kate Mara) is a corporate risk management consultant tasked with the decision of terminating or continuing the Morgan project. Morgan is an A.I. that may have gone off the rails.

Luke Scott directs a pretty good, under the radar A.I. flick. It doesn’t turn the genre on its ear like Ex Machina, but it is solid in its simplicity. The action is immersive and captivating, while the visuals as a whole are stunning. There are some beautiful fight scenes that you can’t take your eyes off of.

Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy are spectacular in the film. Mara plays it very one note, but that works so well into her character. As a corporate figure that’s how Lee should’ve been portrayed. Taylor-Joy is just superb. Her performance is chilling, cold, and emotional at the same time. She brings such a moral compass to a character that shouldn’t feel…
