David Packouz (Miles Teller) and Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) are international arms dealers. Things are going smoothly as money begins to pour in. Soon their company ends up bidding on a pentagon contract worth 300 million dollars. Needless to say things go awry.
War Dogs is one of those movies that has a story that captivates you. Todd Philips directs this true story and he brings his visual flare and comedic brilliance behind the camera. A movie like this didn’t need a director like Phillips, a film like this isn’t in his wheelhouse. Sure enough he knocks it out of the park. His visuals are stellar. From Las Vegas to Albania, and all the way to Miami Beach, you never once think that you’re watching a movie.
As expected the performances are top notch. Miles Teller may not select the best projects, but this isn’t one of those cases. Packouz…
